Yesterday I sold a console on Ebay for a Buy It Now price, the thing is the Ebay user is 'no longer registered' It sold for £150 and this evening I received an e-mail from Paypal saying:

Also,

You CAN NOW ship the merchandise to the buyer's shipping address. You are expected to make the shipment within 48 hours of receiving this Payment Approval Notification and get back to our Costumer/Technical Dept. with the Tracking Number for Shipment.Send shippment tracking details to
[email protected]

Postal Address:

Bolaji Akinwale
2 Mojisola Street
Ifako Agege
lagos
23401
Nigeria

Confirmed

The funds will NOT be Credited into your account until the shipment has been verified. This measure is taken in order to protect both seller and buyer interests and to reduce the occurrence of fraudulent activities.

Now ive never dealt with this kind of thing before, is the e-mail address I recieved from legit?

'Paypal Services @paypal.com [[email protected]]'

What can I do and what are the steps I take? Or do I do nothing, and just report it?

Am I allowed to relist it?

Please help!

Do not send it!
Anything concerning Nigeria/Nigerians and eBay its a scam pal.

Because eBay think you have sold it they will add a charge onto your sellers fees.
But because you haven't actually sold it claim a final value fee credit which takes this charge off your sellers fees :)

Search for it in eBays help me section.

One word "Nigeria"

Some guy did the same thing to me when I was selling my PS2 a while back

It is not legit, Paypal e-mail address looks to be very fake, forward it to [email protected] just to be sure.

Try reclaiming your listing fee by reporting an unpaid item, it should allow you to do this and then proceed to relist it.

I'd forget about it.
PayPal will do nothing and you can't get the money lol or we'd all be sellings to the Nigerians.

Is it worth telling Ebay it and filing an 'unpaid item'?

eBay won't follow it up mate, just forget it :)
But I would file an unpaid item to reclaim some of your sellers charges :)

Okay I went ahead and got this

Report an Unpaid Item Dispute: Final Value Fee Granted

Because eBay user ##### is no longer a registered user, you have received a Final Value Fee credit

So is that just the fees I spent to set it up etc?

Thats the one :)
In "My eBay" on the left hand side click on "Sellers Fees" and see how much you owe.
It might not take it all off, but it will have deffo taken off the amount after the item has sold, but in this case it hasnt.
