first time model shoot

always a learning curve for me lads, thanks for the feedback, positive and negative.
I quite like some of them, took a lot of photos and these are just some that I quite whilst liked looking through them quickly upon uploading them to my computer.
Still have some work to do on them, and that'll take some time, which I don't have this weekend

When i have time 2morow, il show you how they do it professionaly to models.
Theres a lot more than just tweaking the colour settings. I will totally, airbursh her to death :D

Ok, ive only done the face. I would do a bit more to the neck and such and some colour adjustments to the hair and clothes if i was being paid, or it was mine :) and trhe england match wasnt on in a sec and i wasnt going to the pub :D
Id like to know what you think? To much? Unreal? (ignoring the fact it doesnt merge into the neck so well, it would if i continued.
Add me to msn if you want to know how i did it.

hey!

would it be possible you could upload / email me the full resolution shots for some PP / Airbrushing?

Cheers, message me if you want my email or MSN.

Rich

sure, that 2nd one is very unreal to be honest the first looks good though
will upload something for you to play with

first of the pair that were modded
I can spot the original!! :p
so adwrights was pretty good and subtle but the later mod was way ott
makes her look very plasticy

however, a friend of mine into photography (a girl) say that the model probs smokes, which she does, and need to drink more water :)
THEN she talked about the photos...women eh?

As i walked home from a mates house after watching the holland/portugal game i realised thats what you probably ment. Sorry.
I dont care you dont like mine, but to a degree i do this professionally, and i know that what most model portfolios would be expected off.
Look through fhm, you'l see much of the same (the original is not model material). I can add a little less to make her look a little more natural.
I think the reason it doesnt look to real to you, is that its not finished, if the neck and clothes matched similarly it would look very much like the ones she paid for.

Compare mine to the ones she paid a lot of money for and they differ very little, no offence the girl doesnt have a great complexion, and you can see they have PS her. see how they did the same as i did and removed the shadows and made her skin brighter. (its the way they are done now)
Adwrights has played with the colour but missed the main parts which make her facial shape, and not worked on the eyes, and shadows.
Not bad for a first attempt though.

Thanks. However, I do feel that she has lost her jawline somewhat in your edit - her face looks rounder?

The only thing I would say about that, is you seem to have pretty much removed her jawline, and so her cheek looks all weird and saggy.

I have no problem with anything people do to advise or help on these.
any feedback or bouncing around of ideas is great to be honest

as for the airbrushing I guess it depends upon the scenario and subjectivity
personally I like more natural looks but that's not what you see in most of the mags.
as for her complexion, friend of mine looked at her and straight away asked if she smoked (which she does) and suggested that she drink more water which is fair enough

the mate who was also present showed me some prints today from his new A3 HP printer
Awesome colour and definition and some really good shots, I'll try to post one of the ones I really like that he took (Canon 5D 85mm 1.8)
Some very classy stuff

I was bored, and I've never done any kind of airbrushing before, so don't be too harsh ;).

Brushed slightly:

A little Sharper:

I tried to keep them as natural as possible.

Were they shot RAW or JPEG ? it's much easier to contain.

I also had a go so do excuse my 10 min effort :o

No airbrishing btw, just hue/sat + patch tool + low opacity & flow for the clone stamp on the mouth/nose ridge.
