Well we finally got the altered finished and to the track we went

however due to rain all weekend I only got my first observed run in with a 0.022 light and 1.458 to 60ft with 1/2 throttle, first time in a race car since junior dragster nearly 4 years ago now! so pretty happy with it all

Running a methanol injected 511ci (nearly 8.5 litre) Big Block Chevy (approx 1000bhp) with TH400 box, manual shift kit, 5000rpm stall converter
CDII/Chrome-Moly funny car chassis, fibreglass/carbon fibre 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe Altered flip top body

hopefully get to finish licensing at end of October or early November

I wanna know about that helmet i think its the one i want, you would have though with something this cool he would stop around and post some more?

looks like a Simpson Speedway RX to me

tyres, about £600 a pair, but as we're not making *insane* power like the fuellers, alky cars, pro mods etc it won't destroy tyres so quickly, couple seasons from a set should be do able
