I'm doing the Olympic as I wanted the challenge.
Already done all the distances individually since last posting here. Swam 60 X 25m last night in 40mins which was slow and steady. Had to compete in a public pool with people stopping infront of me. Interestingly I found as the lane freed up in my last 20 lengths I was getting more powerful and efficient. Probably from not having to stop and adjust constantly.
Fairly confident I'll be fine. There's over 5 months to train and I've done various other endurance based runs and rides of over 2 hours at a tiring pace.
I'm certainly not going to be competitive to other athletes but we'll see where the training goes.
