first time WC rig

hi ive just bought my first WC kit (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-042-OE)

and was wondering was 1 ltr of mayhems fluid enough how much should it use to fill and will i need more on stand by

As its a complete kit I would assume overclockers would have judged 1 litre a correct ammount.

You might want to buy another so you've got some spare if needs be.

You're going to want to flush out the rads and the like, I would pop down to your nears Car Cleaning/Parts store, you know those people in black and orange... Get some Di-ionised water (its used in irons to stop scaling etc) and use that to flush out the rads, it will save you from having to use your Mayhems fluid to do it.

I think my loop used just over 1l. I bought the Mayhems concentrate but had to slightly dilute it vs. recommended

If going pre-mix then maybe grab 2l just in case

De-ionised water from basically anywhere such as Asda, Halfords or the like.

Cheap and cheerful.

Flush the rads with warm water a few times will do it and then 1 run with de-ionised water if you want to

1ltr should be plenty for that loop, but as said, do get another just in case of spillage or something.

Just for reference I am using about 500ml of fluid in a full CPU + GPU loop with a 360mm rad and 240mm rad and a fairly full EK X-Res 140. (full loop details here, you can also see the de-ionised water that I used)

1L should do it fine. Only really need more if something goes wrong I would think.
