First Time :)

Hey All,

I only have a need to cool my CPU at the moment so I have just purchased:

OcUK Tech Labs Fathom All in One Custom Cooler 240mm With the optional upgraded hardware Labs Black Radiator.

But my questions is I wanted to go down the green fluid route and I really like the look of this stuff:

Mayhems Aurora - Extinction Green Coolant

But after reading the description I am not to sure if this fluid and the pearl inside it would work or go well with the above all in one CPU cooler.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The Aurora fluid is for shows, and not really suitable for general use, it will clog your loop

as does look quite nice, is there any green fluid you can recommend? Just I really never done this before lol

If you have, opr can get UV lights then go with the Mayhems UV Green. I use the UV blue and have been very happy with it.

Is that a case of I would get the fluid and them mount one maybe two UV tubes in the case?

Yup

I have 4. 3 large for the window and one small under my bay resevoir. But it's a VERY big case.

Hmmm I do have a full tower NZXT 820 so its a massive case, Ill buy a few and see where it goes

an 820 deserves full liquid, twin rads big blocks and loads of flashy lights, get it done

I have a biggun, a Corsair 800D. Looking to replace my GTX 660ti, and if I do, will do a new loop for that and my CPU.

I would like do a full loop eventually but want to start off small and simple lol trying to decide what colour theme to go for is a pain but ended up going for green water cooling and have the white nzxt 820 case so hoping it all goes well.

I understand I recently did my first loop 2 rads gpus and cpus and it was a daunting experience however taking your time its no worse than the first time you build your first rig, as long as you get the right stuff it only goes in one place and as long as your first fill is done with the system off and you use decent fluid its pretty straight forward and safe

And watch out... Watercooling can be addictive

at first you think cpu. Then Gpu. Then add more rads to make it silent then a bigger case to hide your dirty habit
