Ive overclocked my E6320 up to 3GHZ but im a bit confused where to go from now. I know i can lower the voltage.

First of all my hardware.

E6320
2GB Geil 800Mhz Ultra Low Latency
8800 GTS 640MB
Gigabyte DS3P
Dtek Fusion Cpu Block
Ek GPU Block
Thermochill 120.2

and my settings

1.5v CPU Voltage
Ive got the RAM timings at 5-5-5-18 with + 0.2V
429 FSB
and the divider thing at 2.00
and some things switched off in advanced bios (from the guide)

I left TAT with 100% load over night and it reached 56C
and it idles at around 36C.

my GPU is 47C idle and 54C underload

my ram is running at 820 is that a problem? and where do i go from here? can i lower the RAM to 4-4-4-12 again?

Yea the Geil should be ok to do 4-4-4-12 @820mhz. You might need to raise it's voltage to +3v.

And I'd lower the vcore to 1.45v or so. 1.5v is pretty high for an e6300.

1.5v is a bit hight, but with the temp's you are getting.. most definately not an issue.

Shouldn't see any reason why the ram wouldn't do 4-4-4-12, best bet is to try it, if it doesn't work, just set it back to 5-5-5-15 and change each one individually and test, alternatively, add a bit more voltage to them like Cob says (although i believe he meant + .3v)

Ok ive beeen tinkering annd im now a this

3.3Ghz
FSB 472
Ram 5-5-5-12

Vcore 1.45V
Vmem +0.3V
MCH +0.1V
FSB +0.1V

Divider 2.00
Ram 988

Temps using TAT

35C Idle
58C 100% for 3 Hours

Unfortunatly ive hit a brick wall soon as i go any further it just blue screens on the way into wwindows :( any ideas or is that it?

Raise your PCI-E Freq to 105mhz and nudge the PCI-E voltage to +1.

Tho it's very likely that your memory has hit its wall.

Well you've got your starting point now. Keep lowering and testing until it's stable.
