FIRST UK STOCK - COOLERMASTER CM-690-II ADVANCED DOMINATOR CASE

The biggest problem I can forsee is CM690-II or a Fractal Design R2?

Both have very different merits, suppose with the 2 options you get the choice.

For me the future upgrading / expanding potential of the CM690-II makes it a great choice and the price makes it a no brainer

plus the pictures don't show the removable hdd cage

I have had the original CM 690 for three years now and was going to purchase the Scout to complete my upgrade. But with the new HDD Dock, Cable Management, 6 Hard Drive Bays, and still retaining the things I love about my current 690, this baby has stolen my heart.

mmm i like it, but then i always use the cheaper CM cases for low cost builds. If i was building a gaming PC for someone i use the 690 anyway so unless it drops in price will continue to do that.

Do you guys have any more decent close up pictures of this case? Interested :)

Your wish is my command.

This seems a nice case, i have a normal 690 and this seems to have some nice improvements.

Shame i bought mine 3-4 months ago i would got this otherwise if i'd known this was on its way :(

The built in Sata dock is a nice feature. Don't think i have seen that before on a case.

I personally think the case looks better when there is a hard drive perched on the top.

Think this feature will be copied in a lot of gaming cases in the future.

Hey overclockers, I've had my 690 II case for about a month, have you received any complaints with the front audio ports ? My green port died a week or so back, it kept changing between plugged and unplugged when I moved the headphone connector about so I could see it is a manufacture problem so I set up the mic slot for headphones which have worked for about a week and now, still same problem, keeps fluctuating between plugged and unplugged. (All cables are correctly fitted. It seems that both ports have actual connection problems becuase if I move the headphone connect slightly whilst in the socket, it comes up as plugged in again and when pressure is taken away, it dies.

I love this case so much, Its amazing, but this problem is really frustrating. Any Ideas ? I've just spent over £1000 from you on an i7, I really don't want to spend anymore on a secondary front audio panel.

I don't get it? Looks boring and ugly to me and looks like the way cheaper cooler masters? Or is this a performance thing?
