First uni assignment

I start my foundation degree next week in public services.

I have been given my first assignment, but it isnt going to be graded

Title: Self-portrait

Assessed learning outcomes: To determine your ability to

- Study effectively

-Demonstrate the study skills required for the successful competition of the course

- Use ICT skills as appropriate to the course


Assessment 1: Self-portrait (1000 words)

Use a suitable format to provide information on yourself and your educational journey and career aspirations. Include the following:

- Where you come from

- Where you are now

- Where you are going / what do you want to achieve




So is there any advice you can give me, I want mine to stand out and make it look 'pretty' (nice design)

I was really just after advice for the design.

I didnt just want to write word after word in Microsoft word

What design? Essays don't have a design or border, or anything for that matter.

By format, I'm pretty sure they mean format of the essay, like introduction and conclusion, not fancy borders or fonts.

It just says 'Use ICT skills'

Word aint exactly rocket science

I just started it with something simple

All my life I have lived in Woodbury, a small village outside Exeter. I live with my parents, one older sister, one younger sister and a younger brother.

I cant think of anything else to write, ive only done 450 words, meant to be 1000 words
