Fishtank + Water loop - Possible?

Im not going to do it, but i think it could be done ¬_¬ even if the fish do get toasty.

The tank has a pump/filter system which pumps 680liters a min, also it filters the water so theres no gunk in it,

Fish tank > pump/filter > cpu > rad > Fish tank

hah mm

i'll pass on this idea and may settle for an odinary res :)

Never mind the fish, turn it into a water feature mod! :D

A PC with a fountain or little statue relieving itself is what we need. Anybody know if its been done before?

PK!

I'm pretty sure there was a member on here who was thinking about immersing his rad in his tropical tank. His problem was that the temperature in the tank wasn't constant enough for the fish (when the CPU was at idle etc).

Then there was the other guy who immersed it in his toilet flush tank...

Daft to use a toilet flush tank, a decent sized bucket is easier, less piping!
Unless of course you can detect the flush and over clock the PC during that time until the fresh water warms up....

home wall-mounted radiators aren't that expensive for a nice fan-free solution....

Fountain ideas don't work in the long term, too much crap gets into the water and there's a build up of minerals due to replacing the evaporated water. I ended up with surface scum in my bucket......

If you didnt care much for the environment and arnt on a meter, you could run a feed from your household water supply. Would give great temps! need to filter it though
