Fishy...

Hopefully it wasn't so bad that is was poisson. Otherwise you may have to go and batter the shop owner.

You would have been batter off staying in for the evening and watching prawn, more satisfying than a sole destroying dive to take back off fish.

What an interesting tail. I think I'm coming from the same angle as the rest of the replies, my thoughts are along the same line. If I were you I'd go back and have a word with him to get this situation wrapped up. There's no need to bait him or anything, just a clam word will do, you wouldn't want it to get out of hand as you could net yourself an a salt charge.

So just got back from the chippy with 2 large haddocks and chips for me and the gf...start demolishing the fish and then realise there's a chemical taste, really not pleasant. Phone the chippy up and he say bring it back and he'll exchange it.

After getting a new one, driving home I realise that the fish smelt slightly of Ammonia which turns out that the fish was bad, decomposing!

The new fish was better but I've never come across Ammonia tasting fish before! Beware all!!!!!

I will use this as a Bass of future reference.

The puns have ruined this thread so I'm going to have to scampi out of here.
