just fitted a new hard drive. a seagate. if i put the power lead in the computer fails to boot. when i remove the lead it boots as normal.power should be fine as i,m running an enermax 500. any ideas or is the new drive just kaput.
My guess is boot order is messed up, it's probably trying to boot from the blank new HD. Go into BIOS and make sure your HD with the OS is set to first boot priority.
