Fitted wardrobes

Looks good, but although I can appreciate we live in a world that we don t really have time for DIY, which means that most don't have the skills either. But £1700 for something like is a lot of money and its not exactly a difficult job!

£1,400. It's more the quality of finish that I couldn't even entertain, and the inside is quite intricate too with shelves and rails and units etc. But yeah, it's a fair wedge and I have no doubt that the local chippy could have done it for half that.

But then the local chippy probably wouldn't provide a long and extensive hassle-free warranty ;).

Just got to figure out how best to light it up now.

I cant help but think that the above would have looked a lot better as a stud wall plastered and painted to match, with a white 6 panel door to match your interior doors for access? It would just look like another little room then.

Neat idea that.

Here's a loading up pic!

Ensuite's next on the home improvement radar.

Still very happy with it. We called them out to make a couple of small adjustments to one of the panels and the door hinges, but apart from that it's been fine.

We had the house valued recently and the estate agent mentioned that walk in wardrobes were popular, for what it's worth.

Is it worth sticking a job up on something like RatedPeople.com, i'm sure there'll be plenty local independant joiners who'd be interested :)

Go with a local independent. We did. Cheaper and better.

EDIT: Oops. Just noticed dates. :o
