I'm in need of a fixture list generator. Now whilst there are an abundance of these on the web none come with the ability to apply rules.
For example the league I am in consists of 12 teams and each play each other home and away.
Sounds simple and in theory it is but the problem I have is that 8 of the 12 teams are and A and a B team from the same venue and neither can be at home or away on the same night.
Teams are
Docs A
Docs B
Dundee A
Fairmuir A
Fairmuir B
Michelin A
Michelin B
North End
North End W
Olde MIll
Olde Mill B
Olde Mill C (Can be ignored as a team sharing a venue)
So when any A team is at home the B team must be away and vice vesra.
I have done a full set of fixtures using one of the on-line generators and proceed to move the fixtures around to accommodate, but that then really messes up the running order meaning some teams will play at home 3 weeks straight then away for two and so on.
To sum things up the rules are :
1. A & B Teams must not be at the home or away on the same night.
2. Each team must play their fixtures in a Home/Away/Home/Away order
3. Each team will play 5 or 6 matches at home in the first 11 and then 6 or 5 away in the second round of matches.
Any ideas as to where I can find a buit of software to accommodate this.
