Flame thrower exhaust?

Its one of those things where I would see it and say "Wow that looks well cool", but then think it's just way OTT and pointless and would never do it to my own car.

But, there is always going to be someone somewhere who will have it on a renault 5 :p

i like them.........*ducks for the flames* just think they are cool and if you have the right kind of car, mitsubishi evo, nissan skyline, or similar then it can look very good.

Natural flames are cool, flamer kits are for chavs who's engines are not man enough to make the real deal. These are about as cool as fake BOV's.

IIRC Drexel had one on his last Scoob....

I thought it looked cool, but I guess it depends on the car its on and also if you are being an idiot and switching it on in slow moving traffic etc...

on a scooby, evo, skyline etc looks great... any other car and a big big no no.

so a yes/no opinion from me :D

no no no no no

Those cars are perfectly capable of natural flamage with the right tuneup and a straight thru exhaust.

Does anyone know if it'll fit my Rover 200??

It's a 1.4 K-Series with 103Bhp, so flames out of Rovers wont look out of place or naff.

Why not just make it yourself?

Get a spark plug, place it 4" from your exhaust tip, wire it up to a switch and then to a +ve and -ve...flick the switch, boot the gas and you're flaming.

It's been tried and tested ;)

what use is that going to do, it will spark once, in fact unless you plan on putting a coilpack in there you aint gonna get a thing. You're going to want a trigger device for rapid sparking.

It worked when we tried it on a Sierra Cossy.

To be fair, I couldn't give a flying fart...I'm not going to use one.

Who needs a flamer kit? If you've got the right car and set it up right it does it itself :)

All I have to do is back off the throttle damper slightly and I go from pops and bangs to huge bangs with a couple of feet of flame on overrun :)

I don;t do it much though as I value my exhaust...
