Flaming Graphics card

thanks for all the posts im still gutted tbh. and it could have ment a trip to A&E. I think I was very lucky.

It is still in warranty , just got to send the card back to overclockers.

The card stinks of an electrical burn, although there is no signs of the flame that came out.

I hope they they replace it its horrible now playing on a NVidia 660.. cry
 
To keep people up to date who is following this thread.

Card has been sent back to overclokers. they have inspected it and has now been sent to Gigabyte.......... now the waiting game.
 
I mean technically this can happen with most components but it's still surprising as hell. The closest thing to this I've seen was an iCute power supply which caught fire; the weird thing being it kept the rig running whilst aflame.

Hope your RMA goes okay man...

Hopefully you just went "meh" and continued with what you were doing as the pc was still running. :p
