I remember when my brother forced me to play a tower defense game with him in Warcraft III. Bored me silly, so I started impeding him deliberately.
Got to level 101:
6 fire towers on the right, 4 on the left (all clumped together).
4 wind towers spaced in the middle (though not dead central).
2 ice towers on the right (not together), 1 on the left.
Upgrade 5 fire towers to level 9 on the right and all 4 to 9 on the left.
Upgrade 3 wind towers to 9 and 1 to 4 (or 5).
Do not upgrade the ice at all.
The simply target all the enemies yourself: Target the front one, then one two positions behind and so forth. The ensures all take splash damage the second they appear and the majority take at least one big hit. Leaving the computer to target them utterly blows at it sticks to one at the front and lets have the mobs go through having taken little to no damage.
I also have too much time on my hand at work.
