Flash Drive Data - HELP!

Hi,

A friend has been working on his A Level course work for the past couple of months soley working from his Flash Drive.

Today he managed to lose the flash drive!!!

Is their any way windows would have kept some temporary storage of these file on the laptop we was working from, or is the data compeltly gone!!!

Any ideas would be a great help

As far as I know they are not.

So it sounds like their is no way of getting this back??

I just hope the flash drive turns up!!!!!

If he's been opening, working with and saving files from/to a flash disk then the temporary files would also have been on the flash disk I think.
