I dont know if to get USB 3.0 (college wont have 3.0 but its backwards compatable?) I have 3.0 at home.

Fast i will be using it every lesson every day :|

8GB+ While not being stupidly priced.

Only thing with the corsair is frankly its ugly :|.

I have a Patriot Xporter, and yea it's definitely faster than standard usb drives, with the lifetime warranty I would recommend them.

I believe USB 3.0 is backwards compatible, however you won't get the same speeds if it was plugged in to a USB 3.0 port.

The Corsair Voyager is fugly yep, but i've had one on my keys for years, its been through the wash a few times by accident and is still in good nick and going strong.

The Patriot looks like it doesn't have a keyring loop - that would be a deal breaker for me as i'd not be able to keep a loose drive that long, woulda been lost years ago.
