Flash Drive troubles.

I've recently purchased a Sony 64gb Flash Drive..

Anyway.

When I plug the USB Flash Drive into my computer, nothing happens. Windows will detect the hardware, install drivers etc. But if I go to My Computer, it isn't there.

So, Remembering what I had to do for my SSD:

I went to CMD -> C:\ -> partdisk.exe -> listdisk

And voila, it appears in there. So I attempted to Clean and format, but when it came to formatting, I tried to format it as an NTFS but I get an error:
"diskpart has encountered an error the parameter is incorrect"

Any ideas??

Note: I'm on Windows 7.
Disclaimer: This flash drive was not purchased from OverclockersUK.

After the "formatting as FAT" via diskpart.exe - I got an error saying it was incompatible.

Then it appeared in My Computer, so I double clicked and Windows asked me to format. Had to format it as exFAT.

Works fine now (I Think) Thanks for the help anyway
