I haven't seen a good flash games thread for a while so wondered if anyone had found any decent new ones!?!?
Anything like fantastic contraption?
MS started doing all the atari games for free, some of them are a bit of fun
If you want some ridiculous and amusing timewasters, I recommend Rocket Toilet, Pixel Toilet (sequel to Rocket Toilet) and the Potty Racers series (1,2 and 3).
They're launch and upgrade games, where for no explained reason you get money from launching your toilet and can buy upgrades with it. There are goals in each of them - e.g. build a portapotty plane and do stunts. There isn't any sense in any of them, but they make me laugh.
The Shopping Cart Hero series are more complex and less scatalogical launch and upgrade games, but equally senseless and amusing.
There are lots of launch games. Toss the Turtle. Hedgehog Launch 1 and 2. Flight. Burrito Bison and Burrito Bison Revenge. Learn to Fly and Learn to Fly 2. Pogo Swing. Etc.
For frittering away lots of time, you might like Cyclomaniacs 1 and 2. They remind me of 1980s games, but with better graphics. Sideways scrolling race games with masses of unlockable characters and, for no reason, bike horns.
For flash RPG games, try Epic Battle Fantasy 3 (1 and 2 are not really epic). Sonny 1 and 2 are good as well. Monsters Den and Monsters Den: Book of Dread (the sequel) are good dungeon crawlers. Legend of the Void and Legend of the Void 2 are good as well.
