Creating a button action script to a point in the timeline

currently using

ON(RELEASE){GOTOANDSTOP(30)}

This isnt working so any top tips will be glorious! xxx

Think it is case sensitive...

on(release) {
gotoAndStop(30);
}

Also you were missing a ;
