I've installed the latest Ubuntu release (8.10) on my laptop, and trying to view any flash content (Flash v10 and Firefox 3) like youtube or iplayer is like poking myself in the eye with a fork - video is jerky, audio is out of sync and full screen video turns into a slideshow. Content like this was perfect in Windows XP.
I've not fiddled with any of the graphics drivers and I downloaded flash direct from adobe (as opposed to using a special ubuntu version which I think you can get).
Anyone have any experience with this?
