flash movie question

Is it possible to play a flash movie on my site via linking from another site i.e Youtube. Or would I need to have the file itself in order for it to play.

I know you can hyperlink, but that opens in another window and what I was looking for would play within my site.

Most of them sites have a link called embedded just use that and paste the code into your site

What if it doesn't have an embedded part how could I use it in my site?

Also, nice site, can I ask what courses e.t.c you have been on. I'm looking to do one myself and was thinking along the lines of the NCFE advanced web design, but not too sure.

Not sure how you would do it without the code unless you downloaded the video then uploaded it to your own site or a host, could be wrong with this just not sure

Never been on a course just sat there with a pot of coffee and a few roll-ups and a WYSIWYG

Thats basically what I thought aswell, I'll have too see if I can scav the file then, cheers.

How long did it take you to learn then, web design wise. I've basically tought myself the basics aswell by looking at the code of other websites and W3schools.

I've been doin it about a month and there is sooooooooo much to learn, just wondering on the time scale side how long to get to your level.....and above

From seeing other members sites on OCuk i would say i'm just on the bottom rung of the ladder and for the life of me i can't remember html so as some would say i cheat and use a WYSIWYG to put a site together

I just use photoshop to get everything the way i want it to look them use the WYSIWYG to put it together

Photoshop 5 years and still learning

WYSIWYG takes about 5 mins and you can have a site up lol
