Flashbacks

How many of you experience regular flashbacks? and how far back are the things you remember? months? years?

I seem to always get flashbacks of things that happened maybe up to 10 years ago.

A lot of the time it's triggered by a taste or a smell or a sound

A taste or smell or sound can trigger stuff in the brain that takes you back where and when you last experienced that taste smell or sound. I think that there is a term for it but I find music is a nice way to bring back memories
