Flashed

You may be very lucky then - it could mean the film had run out before your offence happened. Equally it might not!

Very much so, strokey chin time.

Sounds to me that if the camera was not out of film, then you'll get points. You were going too fast for the conditions, as was proved by you locking up and being unable to stop in time. 40MPH limit means nothing, if it's too wet to stop quickly when doing 40MPH, you should be doing less.

I just got flashed the other week as well. Havent recieved anything through the post yet. It really is a 50/50 chance now if you get done. The camera I got done at, ive never seen them change the film. something like 20% of the cameras are active and even the dummies will flash twice.. If you get the NIP there isnt a lot you can do I am afriad, just make sure it comes withn 14 days.

When you took out your insurance did you use gocompare.com and sort by high-low and pick the one on top?

I have no other comment to make about going through a red light though.

:)

I challenge you all to find cheaper insurance tbh.

indeed I did some shopping around and was getting quites like £6K for a 1.2 Corsa. that was the cheatest quote i got for any car so i took it. Bear in mind the car is worth £4500 and im Fully Comp, and im the main and only driver.

£5642 with no additional drivers, adding 2 brings it down to £3814 on a 1ltr Yaris TPFT for 10 months with Elephant for post code M35 9LP. That is expensive.
