Flashforward

Having now read the original novel which the show is based on, I am amazed at how different it is from the original (the original being about cern and the large harden collider and having nothing to do with the FBI, or any police and terrorism)

Whilst I've been watching it, I've got a feeling they'll make at least 3 series out of it, which is a shame, if it was nice and short it could be awesome.

Prison Break and Heroes met the same fate, cack because they're too long and stretched out

Heroes just seemed to lose direction and I did lose interest by the 3rd season.

Prison Break was fantastic for the first 3 seasons, and only let down by the 4th. Even then a few tweaks to the main storyline and the potential was there for a great 4th season.

Having the mother involved in the 4th season was a huge mistake. It added nothing good to the story and totally detracted from what they could have done instead.

I was so excited but after watching a few episodes I found it not that great. I haveit recorded every week but I don't really want to watch it. Shame

Anyone seen the last ep of the season? Im not sure when its aired in the UK, if it has already or not, but i really liked it!

Shame its been cancelled, I hope another network picks it up and they show season 2!

Yea I liked the end aswell - it does leave it open to another season which is a shame as it doesn't look like this would get picked up by another network to be honest!

I would much prefer to see how this continues than whatever they plan to do with V :/

I know it's the ratings being poor that's been it's downfall but they really shouldn't have chosen to go on a 3/4 month break like they did - that was a nail in its coffin right there!

Too bad the show ended, I really liked the last episode. I'd like to see all those hints given in this ep would lead to.

The last episode was one of only a couple in the series that were any good imo. Shame they cancelled it because it seems like the story might have gotten a bit better, so long as they cured the dullness of the majority of episodes. Oh well.

Probably the reason why the last episode was good, is because they have to draw the audience in, so they continue to watch the show the next season.

The problem is that it is no good having 1 good episode in every 10. That can kill a show. If you don't have enough material to last 20 episodes, then don't make so many episodes. It is a risky strategy to play.

Flashforward's big problem was that the makers had a great idea, but not enough materials to last a full season. So they had to fill the show with LOTS of filler episodes, which brought down the ratings and ultimately led to the show's cancellation.

This is much better than V, it's a pity it got canned. It didn't really finish but set itself up for another series (which of course isn't going to be made). Bugger.

Its a pity the show got cancelled, it was getting really interesting, V is quite good as well but if I were to choose between the two, it would be flashforward. Its the long hiatus that destroyed the show, the finale ratings were horrendous, atleast they resolved a lot of the plot they started with.
