flashing bios

hi guys not sure this is the right forum but still , i need to flash my bios on a dfi 680i . i havn't got a floppy drive so i can't use that route , and the other way they recommend is useing winflash v 1.84 but that won't work with vista 64 bit . any ideas chaps ?ps sry for being a noob

If your board allows booting from usb you could use a USB flash drive

burn bios to cd and flash from cd? (Change cd to 1st boot device)

i think i will try the usb flash one . do you use the same image as if you were useing a floppy disk ?

You can flash the BIOS using a bootable USB flash stick. If using a USB flash stick, be sure to edit the autoexec.bat file that accompanies the BIOS file and flash utility to set (or simply remove) the drive/path reference to AWDFLASH.
