Flashing BIOS...

Hi all,

I'm going to flash my friends BIOS this Saturday and the motherboard is an Asus P5E Intel X38 .

I've downloaded the latest BIOS so it will support his E8400. I'm going to use the EZ Flash 2 Utility in the BIOS to flash it. I've renamed the latest ROM to p5e.ROM.

Will the board pick it up being renamed to this? I think it will as I flashed my Dads ASUS P5K PRO board with renaming the rom to p5k.ROM.

Yeah it should be ok, i think it just for .ROM anyway.

i flashed my Asus P5W 2 days ago and mine was renamed, it worked fine.
