Hello,

I have an OCZ Agility with 1.1 firmware and a Foxconn Bloodrage motherboard with the ICH10R chipset onboard, I also have a HP DV5-1111ea laptop.

I have downloaded the bootable ISO and tried it in my laptop, it works (goes to A:\) but it does not see the drive after fwupdate.exe does its scan. I cannot check if the SATA is in IDE mode as there is no such option on the laptop BIOS.

I try the CD in my PC where I have changed the SATA mode to IDE but it will not boot, it says "InitDiskBad or Missing Command Interpreter" when it tries to boot off the CD.

So I have tried to flask my drive in two PC's and neither work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If I cant get the process laid out by OCZ to work, do you think I could RMA the drive back to OCUK for flashing? I got it in June last year and thought I would be able to update the firmware to support TRIM, but if there is no way for me to do this...

i think your wrong about having 1.1 firmware im sure agility drives all shipped with either 1.3 or later with 1.4

go here to find out more http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/f...Summit-Colossus-and-Z-Drive-with-Microsoft-OS.

got both my agilitys from ocuk in may/june last year both had firmware 1.3

wont flash on laptop it dont have ide

try usb flash on desktop sata port 1 in ide mode

you will need a max 2gb or smaller usb stick

flash from 1.3 to 1.4 to 1.5

if u dont follow the above order you will brick your drive
