Hey guys - this was just announced by Eizo,

1. 2560 × 1440 native resolution
2. 850:1 contrast ratio
3. 270 cd/m2 brightness
4. DVI-D, DisplayPort, and Mini DisplayPort inputs

Would anyone know if this is the same panel as the U2711 / Apple 27inch Cinema and Hazro 27 inch monitor?

It looks to be a nice sweet spot between the expensive Colour Edge series and the high end Dell's. (My guess is this should cost around the same price as the U3011).

Given that it's got the Eizo name, it's probably going to cost about £1500 and that's a conservative estimate. Take a look at their 24" FX2431 or 23" FS2331 VA panels for example, they cost about £950 and £425 respectively.

should be the same LM270WQ2 panel as the Dell U2711 / Hazro HZ27Wb since thats the only current CCFL / 10-bit module they manufacture
