Flickering in Crysis.

Since I have got this 4870 I have noticed like black flickering in crysis that happens frequently, any idea what it would be releated to? dual monitor?

Tearing due to lack of vsync possibly?

No I've never seen black like this, also Vsync was enabled in crysis.

Can you take a screenshot of it? It's hard to imagine what it looks like.

Big black bars, flickering, thats all I can say, not like twearing, cant screenshot it it happens too quick.

Artifacting, what temp is your 4870 at?

I get flickering running the crysis benchmark and its not due to GPU instability - sometimes parts of the scenery will dissapear for half a second or the sky will go all one color for a split second, etc.

I just noticed this recently, walls and background scenery disappear to show a blue landscape for a split second, it happens repeatedly depending on where you're looking, if i turn shadows to low it seems to go away but i would rather have them medium or high, other games are fine, any idea what's wrong?

Check its not running at 24hz
