I'm not sure if this is the right forum to discuss it, but i have a question, ive noticed there is a slight flickering when i move the screen in game.

eg when im playing starcraft 2, it tends to happen if i move more suddenly, any idea what is causing this?

check and see if you have any joystick usb in or see if any of the joystick keys are on. If so turn them off it will work I had the same problem awhile back

I had this problem a while ago and it was due to using a VGA cable on my 7850, it's just because analogue connections are dead and a thing of the past.

Try switching to either DVI/HDMI or a mixture of both (dvi - hdmi or hdmi - dvi) and the problem will go away, also like mentioned above use VSYNC, it always helps.

I switched on the Vsync on the game options and it seems to have done the trick!

As for the rest i already use an HDMI cable from my7770 to the screen, so i don't think it was that?

Thanks for the help guys

It's because your FPS is exceeding the maximum refresh rate of your monitor (Essentially your monitor can't keep up). Turning on Vsync caps your FPS to your monitors max refresh but does sometimes introduce cursor lag by doing so. Another option is to force a max FPS via another piece of software (IE MSI Afterburner) this caps the FPS and reduces the lag effect.
