Hey all,

I recently made a Flickr account and I noticed that unless you give them money you can only upload 300mb a month. I thought that a solution to this would be a good set of JPEG export options so I have come here looking for advice :)

What settings do you guys use? or is it all just pro accounts?

Resize your shots before you upload.
I resize mine to 1000px on the long side which makes each shot around 500kb.

I have a Pro account as well though.

you can lower the rez of the image and export as a jpeg to save file size as well as lower the quality but the pro account isn't much so maybe worth looking at.

Yes, as said above if you happen to have a BT Yahoo email account sign up with that. When I signed up last year I was surprised to see it had already entered my email address and getting pro for free was a nice surprise :)

Resizing them doesn't make much difference as iirc you can only view you most recent 200 pictures anyway, I went pro as once I started using Flickr I noticed just how many pictures I actually take lol
It's pretty good value for money in my eyes if you go pro
