Flight 93 and United 93

United 93 by a long way, very powerful film. really quite upsetting in places

Have you seen Flight 93?
Flight 93 spent longer on the individual characters where United 93 didn't.
I found United 93 not to be very upsetting because of this where Flight 93 made me numb.

Haha! That movie is sheer cheese, wooden actors, terrible lines and poo special effects, I cant see how it could have moved you at all - sorry!

but it did something United 93 didn't do which was to concentrate on the characters and also their relatives who they were talking to.
United 93 should have been called 'The Day of 911'.

Having now watched United 93, I completely agree with dmpoole's post.

Although United 93 was more professionally made, it forgot to concentrate on the real stars of the film, the passengers of the plane.

There was absolutely no effort made to build the characters up of the passengers leaving me feeling totally underwhelmed at the end of the film.

Flight 93 at least made some effort to build characters and for me, it was a more emotional and powerful film than United 93.

I did that, when I was in USa saw Flight 93 and thought it weas the movie so bought the TV film instead, its good but prefared the other one.
