Flight arrival location changed

So this is still ongoing

Its basically impossible to speak to BA, seems pretty much every option you have on the phone ends up with you being cut off

Its getting to the point now that I need to book insurance, parking etc and I cannot get hold of them at all to see if they are going to pony up the additional costs.
I dont see why I should suck them up and them making themselves uncontactable is not helping my mood in regards this neither,
Its a month on since they sent an email saying if it affected ground transport they would contact us, and yet, zilch.

They try to direct you to their helpchat bot, well hes about as useful as dusty bin (sorry to any youngsters who dont get that)

Have you joined the Executive Club? There always used to be a different number for that, and although the wait was still quite long it would get answered. Alternatively look for the number to call if you are calling from overseas as imagine that would still be running.

Apologies if you have tried both of these already.

Tried Twitter? They seem active on that.

Thanks guys, am a member of executive club so will take a gander at that

Tonight I am also going to price up a new holiday just to see, if its by any chance cheaper Im going to cancel the other one as I can do that online, thats part of the idiocy thats winding me up.

I dont use twitter TBH but if I have to then I guess thats an option.

Try them on twitter its on 24/7. That's how my daughter got in touch with them as she couldn't get through on the phone either. Worth a try.
Doh too slow.

BA won't give a toss. They'll apologise but won't actually do anything about it.

They did the same thing to us a few years ago, we paid extra to fly from Heathrow as it's only an hour from us and then a few months later that flight was cancelled and we were rebooked onto a flight from Gatwick. Ugh. Not great, but OK.

You'll have the option of cancelling and getting a full refund. That's what we did, but only on the day of the flight. The M1 was closed near Luton so we missed our flight. I called BA to say that we wouldn't make our outbound flight but if you don't take your outbound flight then your inbound flight automatically gets cancelled. I didn't want that as we still wanted to fly back on that same flight (we were going to book an Easyjet flight out from LGW a few hours later). They wanted £250 to change our existing booking to a one way so I reminded them that they had changed the Airport so I would like a refund. They agreed.

I then booked an Easyjet flight out and the same BA flight back.

A full refund came through about 2 weeks later.
