Sounds like a firewall issue as mentioned above... someone (with good sense) has blocked any connections to unauthorised DNS servers.
Yeh, its still picking u the group policy for domain profile. It has the custom stuff i put in like VNC exceptions and other bits.
Leaving the domain would probably sort it but I dont know if boss wants it leaving on for anything. Its not urgent anyway, so ill leave until next week (probably just format it anyway and start fresh)
