Flushing my radiators - it's coming out blue

I started flushing my two Black Ice radiators today with a mix of distilled vinegar and de-ionized water and when i empty them the liquid comes out a rather fetching light blue colour. This only happens when vinegar has been used however, it comes out clear if i fill it with de-ionized water only.

Is this normal and i should i just keep going until it comes out clear?

Yeah that's normal just oxidation of the copper. Nothing to worry about

Ah right thanks. So i can just carry on flushing until no more bits come out and just ignore the colour of the liquid?

Pretty much. If the water is coming out "mucky" then you need to keep flushing until it is clear.

If you keep adding vinegar you'll keep seeing blue. That's a copper salt you're making. If there's no crud coming out, I'd move onto distilled.
