that wouldn't be hard as nikon don't do a 150mm macro lens

there is the 60mm, 105mm VR, 180mm and 200mm

Kenko DG extension tubes - 12mm, 20mm and 36mm.

Thanks. That's what I was hoping you'd say; have got a set already and am considering getting the 100 mm macro ar some point. I do tend to have issues with getting focus with the stacked tubes and the nifty 50. Do you find it any easier to get the bug in the rather limited focal plane with the 100 mm?

No I don't

I rarely use all of the tubes stacked because the depth of field is tiny.
