People who leave take away pamphlets in your letter box. I'm sick to death of opening mine to find Abdul's has now opened or Luigi's has a 2 for 1 offer. If I don't leave crap on your doorstep then don't leave it on mine.

You can get stickers to put on your door for this problem.

I cherish my door. But I had one years ago which said No religious Groups, No Sales People, No Canvassers and they all still came.

I'm sure Royal Mail have a list of people who do not wish to receive these kind of leaflets. Take Aways need to subscribe and pay to this scheme so they don't regularly litter people's houses.

What is fly tipping?

Fly tipping is the illegal dumping of any waste on to land or a highway that has no license to accept it.

My house counts as land and I didn't sign up to accept it

Fly tipping affects the appeal of an area and causes damage to the environment.

Well it doesn't do that, but prevents my Mail Man putting letters in.

Fly tipping varies in scale from a bin bag of rubbish to large quantities of waste.

Pamphlets, leaflets are waste

If you see someone fly tipping or carrying out any other anti social activity do not place yourself in danger. Instead report it to the council.
