Hey guys,
I got this new software called flyakite OS and it replicates the mac OS almost perfectly :D I prefer the mac OS to widnows because it is more cleaner and easier to use. This is a brilliant add-on and I reccommend everyone who wants their PC to look like a mac to download this now!
 
Huh? It replaces Mac OS? Does that mean it runs Mac OS binaries natively? Is it for Power PC, Moto 68k, or x86? How does all of this relate to Windows?

Perhaps I'm missing the point...
 
What? :confused: I said, here let me explain it easier:)
I have windows XP. I saw advertising this thing that lets windows look exactly like a Mac.
I downloaded it and it looks exactly like a Mac.
Get it now? :D
 
Its a skinning app suite. Looks fiarly pretty but totally changes your system shell settings, was pretty unstable in my experience and a pig to uninstall too.

Install if

a) you want your desktop to look like a Mac desktop
b) you don't mind your PC crashing every hour or two
c) you dont plan on uninstalling it. Ever.
 
So it's just a silly theme to skin Windows XP to look like Mac OS X? Why is this in the Linux, OS X, & OSS forum? There's a 2200+ post thread over in the Windows forum for this sort of tosh.
 
OOps, I din't realize I shouldn't have put it in this forum :( and MOKUJIN, what verson did you use, version 3.5 is out now and is very stable.

I used it for a good 6 months and never experienced any of this. It was very stable, and it uninstalled fine. I only stopped using it cos I got bored!
