Flymo Blade Question

Hi,

Having just bought a Flymo blade I have a question - the new blade is painted black and where the sharp edge is it is painted and doesn't seem sharp enough to cut - does it need to be sharpened before use or not?

No it doesn't need sharpening.

Once it's spinning fast enough it is more than sharp enough to cut grass.

Thanks, that's what I thought just never bothered buying a brand spanking new one before. Exciting times.
