Right,

Weird one this - I've got a 2005 Ford Focus, and to cut a long story short, I need to get into it without the central locking remote. Easy I thought, use the spare key - but no, there is no keyhole. Not one, not even on the drivers door.

Any ideas where ford may have sneakily hidden a keyhole on my car!?

Only just purchased the car, but I'm presuming so. Is there no way to open the car without the remote with keyless entry?

will the key open the hatchback? If it does you could just climb through. I have the same year focus but mine has a normal lock on the drivers door.

It sounds like it's been de-locked by the previous owner, because it should have a lock on the drivers door.

It's a fairly popular mod, especially if some scrote had tried to hammer a screwdriver through the lock to break into it.

The lock will probably still be there behind the blank cover, but if you can't open the door you won't (easily) be able to remove the cover.
