I seen a guy who must have been easily in his 60's in a green RS the other day, had to do a double take.
I can assure you that your experience was far from typical of the typical ownership experience - sounds like you just bought a bit of a lemon
It's considerably faster than what he is used to driving and I only said the 'mid-lfe crisis' bit as a bit of a joke. The ST170 is capable enough enough car down a B-Road, a little more power wouldn't go amiss but the handling is spot on.
