Focus ST170?

Apart from the obvious 170bhp... what kind of performance do these have? Just had an uphill standstill roll away from lights tussle with one, and then round up a slight incline for a while - and well when we got to the lights where we stopped he rolled down his window and said "I thought it's just a Sport!? So am I missing something here, or was my car not meant to be a fair bit slower?

well it was bone dry, and I didn't even know he was there until he accelerated. I didn't launch or anything, pulled away normally, then when I saw him next to me booted it and pulled past him and kept doing so.

the story is as told, I'm sorry but I'm not one to make these kind of things up. I just found it funny when he said what he did, hence posting it, not to try and say that ZOMG my car is fast - because I know it isn't. I know a ST170 is MEANT to be faster.

well the badging was there, the alloys, the lights, the bumpers (slightly diff are they not?)
I can't really see that being possible, plus why would he ask me if it was just a sport?
