The car in question is a Sportka... And before you all flame I don't drive around with fog lights on
I've had some condensation in the lamps for some time now and it was starting to annoy me... So i had the idea today to leave them on for a while to evaporate the condensation and just take off the rear seal to allow it all to escape...
But i noticed a fault... When i click the fog lights on they wont come on unless the sidelights or dipped beam are on, All ok here. But when i turn my sidelights off the fog lights stay on! They will however turn off when the engine is off, but will come back on when it's started again. Turning the foglights off and back on resets the problem.
Now this isn't a big issue as fog lights are hardly necessary... But i would be quite annoyed if i forgot to turn them off one foggy night and caught my self driving around in the day with them on. Also just knowing this fault exists annoys me
Any ideas on what the cause may be?
