Folder hashing app recommendation? Android.

Hi guys,

As above, I'm after something that can hash an entire folder/archive/zip on Android? Every app I've looked at so far will only let me hash single apps.

Is there even anything out there?

What do you mean by hashing? If you mean generating the checksums, then Solid Explorer can do it for files (including zips)

I do. And I have the paid version of Solid

I've not seen any options to generate checksums though?

It's in the file properties, one tab over

You could use something like Automate Android, with a flow that gets you to select a folder and it'll log the file directory and name with the md5 to a log file (where you can also choose where to save it)

I just knocked up the flow, it's a few blocks so even the free version of Automate will run it.

This will log every file automatically rather than clicking individually.
