Folder Help?

Every year I have to create a new archive at work for all the deals that we do, this archive is massive full of folders inside folders all with excel workbooks in each. All I need for the 2009 is the skeleton folders as they act as a referencing point so copying the whole thing I need to get rid of around 60gb of excel workbooks (so very time consuming) is there a way I can delete all the excel files but leave the skeleton folder layout very quickly or do I have to go through all the folders and delete folder by folder?

You could write a batch file to scan the folders and Delete *.xls ?

Ahhh sorted it I just did a search on explorer for all excel files in the archive and deleted all of them.
