Folder Problem Urgent help needed

Just Finished buliding a new system and due to purchasing new harddrives i thought i would get a caddy and use my old harddrive as a external one.

However i left everything installed on it and never took anything off. My old windows profile and folder was password protected. All my Uni stuff is in this folder(bugger) is there anyway to unlock this?. Tried just putting it back in the system and booting up windows with it but it won'twork. Any ideas guys?

On the root folder (with the disk in as a slave) right click and choose properties.

Click the security tab, the click advanced button. Now click the owner tab, select your username in the list and set yourself as the owner of the folder and all sub folders.

Come out of that screen then go bac in to the security tab and add yourself with full permisions to ther folder and all subfolders.
