Does anyone know if Stanfords forum is down?
I cant get the page up, IE says "done" but all I have is a blank page.
Its been like this since yesterday afternoon.
 
I tried to link to Stanfords forum through your link Rich but its still a no-go.
Ive deleted my cookies and cleared my history and still nothing.
Ill try on another PC but it looks like somethings up at Stanfords end.

your link there is to the folding forum which I'm pretty sure is hosted completely seperately from the Stanford site - If both aren't working for you then the problem is likely to be either on your computer or something to do with your ISP

Have you tried restarting your router (or whatever means you have of connecting) as sometimes I get oddities like this with my Router when all other internet type things still seem fine

Very strange that you can still see us here though :confused:

Your link to Stanfords main page works fine.
Yes Billy I have tried all 14 PCs though after 2 or 3 I knew I was wasting my time.
All use IE but I can get any other url I enter.
Are you sure you can access the forum page.
 
ahh righty - well I can definately view the forum via that link and my own

Have just got someone on IRC to try it though and they said it was blank for them - could be that it recognises me and BTI but the site security is messing you around? :confused:
 
Yes they are all through my server.
I have tried to link to the forum through other sites such as here and Xtreme Systems but that dosent work either.
The strange thing is I can connect to every other link on Stanfords Home page but not the forum.
 
Same thing is happening for me :( I noticed it last night, but thought it was just a glitch, but I still just get a blank page. I'm using firefox.

Also tried via the work VPN. No dice there either.
 
Phew, I was begining to think Id upset them (middle aged paranoia). :eek:
Still its not good I wanted to get the latest news on the Gpu client.
Oh well Ill have to wait untill its sorted.

Hahhah.. I know what you mean, Sculptor! I just posted in there for the very first time yesterday, then today I can't get in. I thought maybe I'd offended someone ;)

Yes maybe - I'm not doing that though as it's currently working fine for me :p

I'll have a quick check to see if it's been reported and if not I'll post over there about it

Well I reported it last night and a few others agreed that they knew a few people having the same problem. Today someone has posted that it hadn't been working for them yesterday but was now fine.

I'll go and bump it and see if anyone's alive :p


edit: well plenty more people are having the same problem - and plenty of others who haven't witnessed it themselves at all :confused:
